Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am currently in the process of joining insurance panels and will soon be in-network with:

    • Cigna

    • United Healthcare (UHC)

    • Aetna

    • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)

If you'd like to begin therapy before my participation is active, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement under your out-of-network benefits.

  • The standard rate for a 50-minute individual therapy session is $150.00

At this time, I accept private pay via credit/debit card or HSA/FSA accounts.

  • Trauma isn’t always the result of one major event—it can also come from ongoing stress, emotional neglect, or times you didn’t feel safe or supported. Sometimes we don’t recognize something as trauma until we notice how it’s impacting us now.

You might feel anxious, on edge, emotionally numb, or stuck in patterns like people-pleasing or avoiding conflict. Trouble sleeping, low self-worth, and difficulty trusting others are also common signs.

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone and I’d love to connect!

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps you heal from trauma by reprocessing distressing memories in a safe, guided way. It uses bilateral stimulation—like eye movements or tapping—which helps the brain process stuck memories more effectively, similar to how it naturally processes information during REM sleep.

As the memory becomes less emotionally charged, you can begin to feel more calm, clear, and in control—without needing to relive the pain.

    • Weekly sessions – Ideal for building momentum and consistency, especially at the start of therapy.

    • Biweekly sessions – A great option for ongoing support and integration between sessions.

    • Monthly sessions – Suitable for maintenance or check-ins after more intensive work.

We’ll collaborate to determine a pace that feels right for you and can adjust as your needs evolve over time.
